"I Love You"

Vamos falar do lançamento antecipado da canção I Love You, que fiz pro Dia dos Namorados em junho:

O cantautor japonês Yutaka Ozaki compôs e gravou I love you em 1983 para o álbum de estreia Jū-nana-sai no Chizu (O mapa de dezessete anos de idade, 1983). A música só foi sucesso em 1991 (quando lançado em CD), tanto que no mesmo ano a cantautora estadunidense Deborah Gibson regravou a sua versão anglófona para I love you, que fez sucesso mais ainda. Yutaka, infelizmente, faleceu em abril de 1992 aos 26 anos. Ainda assim várias versões foram feitas até agora. Em 2005, o cantor japonês Kiyoshi Hikawa apresentou I Love You (composição de Yutaka Ozaki) e sua apresentação no Kiyoshi Kono Yoru foi bem sucedida que, em março de 2015, Kiyoshi repetiu a dose: apresentouI Love You, dessa vez ao vivo no KayōConcert (NHK Hall) e a performance dele foi bem vista por milhões de telespectadores. De acordo com o blogueiro J-Canuck do blog Kayōkyoku Plus, Yutaka Ozaki não está mais entre nós, mas é ótimo que haja artistas como Kiyoshi Hikawa que continuam prestando homenagem à ele. Como sou fã brasileira (e sul-americana) de Kiyoshi Hikawa, tenho a oportunidade de cantar a canção romântica, só que anglófona (a mesma que Debbie tinha feito), de todo o coração pra vocês.

Tatianna Raquel vai cantar "I Love You" para o Dia dos Namorados

A cantora e escritora Tatianna Raquel, 36 anos (completetará 37 no dia 19 de julho), que há nove dias atrás (17 de abril) acaba de lançar nas redes sociais - Facebook, Twitter e Tumblr - seu CD/digital Contando Histórias, anunciou, tanto em seu podcast quanto no artigo simultâneo deste blog dela, que vai lançar a versão anglófona da canção I Love You (composição de Yutaka Ozaki, na versão da cantautora Deborah Gibson). E especialmente para o Dia dos Namorados (12 de junho) deste ano. Tatianna escreveu no episódio-artigo a seguinte nota:

Electric Youth, hit da total autoria da cantautora e atriz Deborah Gibson (hoje com 43 anos), foi lançado como single em 18 de abril e 1989 no Reino Unido e 26 de junho do mesmo ano nos EUA respectivamente. O single oriundo de seu CD do mesmo nome se tornou uma de suas músicas mais famosas, alcançando o número 11 nas 100 mais tocadas da Billboard e número 14 na parada de singles do Reino Unido. O sucesso foi tanto que a Revlon lançou seu perfume com esse nome.

 

Deborah Gibson tinha feito a canção como uma declaração sobre como os jovens daquela época foram vistos e como suas ideias eram muitas vezes ignoradas. Como uma própria adolescente, ela acreditava firmemente que as crenças e ideias mantidas por jovens eram tão importantes quanto as realizadas por adultos e a canção lembrou dessas pessoas. Ele também lembrou que a juventude atual se tornaria a próxima geração de adultos.


E essa música marcou muito minha época quando eu escutei na rádio Tri FM (105,5 MhZ) e vai ser sempre lembrada como um sinônimo de sentir-se jovem a cada dia. Espero que vocês gostem dessa canção que falem de jovens que serão adultos um dia - como eu me tornei há tanto.
